Chris Gresswell-Green

Chris has developed a significant claimant Medical Negligence practice with a particular expertise in fatal cases. As a consequence of that work he has represented many families at inquest and has been involved in cases where Human Rights matters arise.

He has also recently succeeded on an unreported secondary victim claim for both parents of a minor who was injured and died at birth and has worked on cases where jurisdiction and applicable law are in issue.

Chris completed his Law degree at Sheffield Hallam University in 2007 and obtained a 2.1 honours classification. He completed the Legal Practice Course at BPP Law School, Leeds in June 2011 with a Distinction and qualified as a Solicitor in September 2012. Chris is also a committee member of the Lincolnshire Cerebral Palsy Society and an ambassador for the North East Lincolnshire Parent Participation Forum (NELPPF).

Chris is a regular contributor to our cerebral palsy information website which acts as a central hub, signposting those affected by cerebral palsy to the services most useful to them.

In March 2019 Chris appeared on BBC television show Inside Out to discuss systemic failings in the NHS leading to late diagnosis and late treatment of cancer.

In February 2022 Chris appeared on BBC television show East Midlands Today to discuss surgical failings in the NHS leading to loss of a lung resulting in one of his clients’ receiving compensation of £500,000.00.
