This month, we shall concentrate on the causes and symptoms of Cerebral Palsy.
Cerebral Palsy is a condition that relates to reduced muscle coordination. It is caused by traumatic injury to the brain whilst it is still developing. This includes the parts of the brain that are responsible for motor control, coordination and balance. The most common cause of brain trauma in a baby is oxygen deprivation but can also be caused by, amongst other things, physical injury and meningitis.
